Exercise Equipment Delivery/Installer/Technician

Furniture Assembly Team is looking for part- time and full- time subcontractors willing to go out on exercise equipment- related jobs. This includes fitness equipment disassembly/relocation/assembly, elliptical machine installation, and any other fitness equipment- related jobs. You will have a chance to be hired as a subcontractor for our company who will represent us to our customer during the execution of whatever job is at hand. Positive attitude and customer service skills are a must. Company vehicles are available for distribution to the subcontractors at the discretion of management. You will be in charge of completing jobs assigned to you in your area, so there will be no overnight commutes and trips.

Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 175lbs
Requires prolonged sitting and driving
Must be able to work flexible hours
Broad knowledge of tools
Ability to read, understand and follow product instructions quickly and efficiently
Smartphone
Must be able to work in severe weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
Strong work ethic and drive to exceed
High school diploma or GED
Class C Non-CDL driver’s license
Clean driving record
Ability to pass background check
DOT medical card
Own necessary tools (both manual and cordless, impact drill) to complete each installation
Mechanically inclined

Responsibilities

Move equipment/product into customer’s homes/businesses, including ascending/descending flight(s) of stairs without damage to the product or customer’s property
Assemble product according to manufacturer’s specifications
Complete product testing after the installation
Inspect and prepare product for delivery
Maintain safe product handling at all times
Operate phone/GPS for optimal delivery efficiency
Provide excellent customer service
Responsibilities are, but not limited to (other responsibilities may be assigned by manager)
Maintain applicable delivery logs including DOT records
Perform pre and post trip inspections on delivery vehicles
Load/unload truck
Secure cargo/product
